New FZ150 questions

After many years of fine service from my humble FZ5, I felt I needed something a little better. I am very pleased with my new FZ150 (except for the manual!), and I have a question concerning spot focusing (finally figured that one out) and if I can use that with focus tracking. Also any suggestions for birding would be appreciated. Sending some of my first pics--hope they will improve. Thanks.
