Thoughtful blog post about Sony sensors

I am not a Nikon fan, I don't like the control layout and I don't think they are very innovative. However, I see no reason for them or any other camera make to remake the wheel when a perfectly good one is available for them to use. AKA going to Sony for the sensor instead of wasting time making their own that would be about the same as the Sony. Nikon knows their strengths and they stick with them. Sensor design isn't one of them. No biggy in my book. I wouldn't like their cameras more if they had their own sensors in them and I doubt others would feel any different.
