Birding at 40mm
Jul 16, 2012

I recently ordered some prints and realized that every single one was shot with a fast prime. I've got dozens of decent images with a tele zoom, but nothing that made the cut in the end. You can get some amazing bird shots with a 20mm lens on micro-four-thirds, you just have to catch them first! (FYI... I'm a biologist and have permits for everything you see being handled. Please don't go around grabbing screech owls, for your sake and theirs.)

In order: western screech owl, western meadowlark nest, American kestrel, California quail.

Any comments, critiques, or advice is welcome.
