20 megs vs reduction

Where do the amateurs come from that think they will get better results from reducing the image from 20 to 10 megs ??? And that they know better than Sony, Canon, Nikon..etc...??? ...facebook ? forums of cheap compact cams like the RX100 ??? ....can't believe you guys. How long have you been selling prints ? And where ? All the top manufacturers must be wrong...lol....you guys...c'mon.
