If you never persevere at something you're not good at, it's guaranteed you'll never get any better at it. If we all quit the first time we tried something and didn't like it, we'd never progress at all but stay a child our whole lives...more people seem to be like that nowadays, and I for one do not encourage that...

I also DO NOT want to work for myself

Have fun being an employee, then, and having others reap a large part of the fruit of YOUR labors. Nothing wrong with that as long as you realize it and resign yourself to it. But if you have the ability and the talent and the perseverance to make a go for yourself, their is nothing more rewarding from a personal perspective if not a financial one. If you don't try you'll never find out. And striking out on your own is not a one-time set-in-stone thing - if it doesn't work out you can work for others. It's not for everyone - but believe me, I've done both, and working for yourself is where it's at. YMMV.

Did you read a single thing the OP wrote? He has already has a wedding and portrait business. You think you know what he's good at better than he does?
