Sorry, it's "Retroadapter" in German and I didn't translate it - of course it's "reverse ring" in English.

With E-Mount lenses you can't choose Aperture or focus manually so the best way is mount the lens in "normal position", choose aperture of e.g. 11 and focus to the nearest point. The dismount the lens from the body while the camera is still on and reverse mount it. With this technique the aperture stays at e.g. 11 which is much more useful than wide open. I believe the focus distance is also set then but I'm not sure. You can focus only by moving to the front / back and not on the lens. It's not that hard using the focus peeking feature on the NEX though.

Very nice... thanks for share this info.. but if I do this with camera still on can I damage my camera right ? (noob here)

How about ligth ?? What kind os light are you using to take this pics ?

Can You post more pics using this techniques ? Tks a lot.
