K5 and K30 are players of different leagues.
Yes, K30 seems to have some nice features (like better video codec, etc.). But still it does not substitute a good Full HD camcorder (at least for me). Sony SLT camera could be very interesting for shooting both stills and videos (as it can provide full-time phase-detect AF), but in reality it is still far from being an ideal camera for shooting video (also because of sensor heating issues).
Although K30 is well built, it still looks like a toy.
K5 has magnesium body, which helps dissipate heat.
Think also of this: K30 battery is tiny and its life between charges is short. You would need to consider a couple of spare ones, or an optional adapter for AA batteries.
