D800 - pro camera

Following the previous thread about the D800 being a pro camera or not - Not the most interesting question but anyway;

The first thing is that the D800 is so inexpensive. A lot of people, amateurs like myself, buys them. Compare that to the Mark III, more expensive and thus a bit more "exclusive" in this regard. Being a more inexpensive camera is a good thing for sure, this is more of a side effect...

I'm interested in the actual pro use of the D800. Is there examples of working pros that use the D800 as a primary camera? Maybe some of you?

I completly agree that what defines a pro camera is if pros uses them. Since the majority on this forum appears to be advanced amateurs one could get the impression that the d800 is more of an amateurs cam...
