With the OMD specifically, the 14-150 isn't a half bad choice. It is relatively compact, at roughly the same size as the new 12-50. All of the short telephoto kit lenses are f/3.5 anyway. And the OMD has lots of ISO to work with.

I would suggest you consider an OMD kit with a 14-42 and then get the 14-150 as a re-furb. You can find them for @$350 or less at Cameta. The 14mm f/2.5 Panasonic pancake primes are floating around for @$160.

You can build a nice little kit for @$1500 if you know how to shop. With an OMD, you can always go lens crazy later.
