Somewhere dark!

Took the SX40 for a photoshoot at a destination with many dark interiors. This was to deliberately record at higher than base ISO. It isn’t oft that I stray from ISO 100 because cameras these days give such great IS at extremely slow shutter speeds but I’m new with this camera and needed to prepare myself for what I consider to be a safe ISO margin which I can set in CHDK.
I was very satisfied with my results but in future will probably allow it to max at ISO 600.
The first image at ISO 1600: f2.7 1/60th sec
Image two at ISO 1000: f2.7 1/60th sec
Image three at ISO 800: f3.5 1/60th sec
Image four at ISO 1600: f8.0 1/13th sec
Best regards
Keith
