What is your workflow for landscape pics?

My main interest lies in landscape photography. I currently have a hx20v and av100. Whenever the scene is good( I mainly take pics at sunset) , i shoot pics with P Mode at ISO 100 making sure nothing is overexposed( i generally lower the exp to -0.7ev). This gives me latitue in post processing. Then i work around with Graduated nd filter in colr efex pro and the vibrance filter also. Occasionally i used detail extractor as well. This leaves me with a very nice image , albeit very "different" from what i actually saw with my eyes. What is ur strategy for capturing exactly as u saw??? . It wud be great if u cud the share a brief workflow from capture to post processing. Any book or tutorial recommendation will also be great.
