99% of Writers read and Write DVD-R, 99% of DVD players Read DVD-R. DVD-R is recognised in more PCs and players than DVD+R.

Now tot up the cost of each DVDR, tot up how many you got and I bet you could buy 2 x 2TB hard Drives and have change and space.
Hard drives these days are more reliable than they use to be.

Now, put about 20 Tiffs on a DVDR and you will wait ages and ages for the thumbnails to show. But for those who don't use TIFFs you got no problems.
I stop saving to DVDR over two years ago. Make your life easy.
