Tamron this Tamron that.

I've been consistently impressed with their "SP" series lenses on Canon bodies.

My experience with their non-SP lenses ranges from meh to acceptable at the limits and OK to pretty durn good at the center at mid-apertures.

I think that in general Tamron does color better than Sigma, but that could be just a reflection of my personal preference.
