Ah, but not so. Not "all went off at the same time." That's what makes it interesting.
Watch a video where you can see multiple barges firing. The shells are fired in sequence, possibly the correct sequence, just very, very quickly.
The conflagration above each barge is exactly the same with the same changes, just really fast. Fun to watch.
