Sony A57 AF points and moving them
Jul 12, 2012

I'm considering buying an A57 very soon, but I am finding it hard to get an easy way to move the af point.

On a Canon there is an af point button with one press you can then move the af point around. On the Nikon D7000 you press the button near the af/mf switch and you move the focus point round.

Is there an easier way to do something similar on the A57 (or other Sony SLT for that matter) as I find this to be an essential feature. The best option so far is changing the AEL or ISO button to change the focus type then the focus position but this is still tiresome with the button presses.

Why not go for Canon & Nikon? Because I feel I will get the benefit out of Sony's speed/DRO/HDR/in body stabilisation and I love the images that come out of the Sony.

Thanks in advance for any answers or tips
