Replaced 4 - R3000 Ink Cart chip batteries for the heck of it.
Jul 12, 2012

I use 3rd party ink and carts on my R3000. I didn't have to replace the 4 batteries nothing was wrong. I just wanted to see how things would go replacing the existing batteries with new batteries in the cart chips.

I had ordered 15 - #377 Energizer button batteries from Amazon Marketplace, they were dirt cheap. Six of the batteries I replaced 6 wrist watches my wife had that needed batteries (uses same batteries as ink cart chips #377). I also replaced 4 ink cart chip batteries that took a total of 7 minutes. It was easy to do no problems and everything worked out smooth on my printer.

BTW to have a battery replaced in a wristwatch would cost $5.00 per battery. It would cost 42 cents each if you could do it yourself.

Have a nice day
Andrew
