Just to be clear, as we tried to convey in the review, our issue with X10 raw files is not with the tools or workflow of SilkyPix. The demosaicing of the raw files by both SilkyPix and ACR are not even matching the fine detail/resolution of the in-camera JPEGs, let alone rising to the level we're used to seeing from raw as opposed to JPEG output.

When a camera company chooses to use a unique sensor design, you'd like to see them ensure (via close cooperation) that at least the raw converter they bundle with the camera presents a high quality conversion for the user to start with. Sadly, that's not the case with the X10. We mention SilkyPix not to trash it but because that's what Fujifilm has chosen to bundle with the camera.
