7D or 650D/T4i for Photo Student

I've come in a little late on this thread, but I'm glad to hear you're going with the T3I.

I had the same decision to make (although mine was back with the T2i days.

I could have gone a 60D or 7D as some of my mates did. Instead I saved my pennies, got the T2i.

A couple of years later, and I have a body that has greatly depreciated, but I also have a 70-200 2.8 IS USM II lens as well with the money I saved - which I doubt will depreciate anywhere near as quick.

There's no doubt if you hold a 60D or 7D body you will notice significant differences. And if you're into sport shots you may have wanted the faster FPS, etc - but at the end of the day, IMO you will be paying a lot more money for features that will depreciate in monetary value compared to putting your money towards lenses.

And especially considering that the T3i has the same back sensor as the 7D - you should be able to get the same great shots (unless of course again you need the FPS).
