No External Flash firewire problem

My White Lighning 10,000 studio flash triggers fine as the external manual flash when I put a card in the camera and use the camera batteries.
But when I connect it to the computer and AC the flash won't fire when I take the picture from the computer nor the camera.
This is with Hyper Utility. Camera Menu is changed to PC Mode -- Firewire shooting. Will take available light, but studio flash just won't fire. Any suggestions?
