All I see from the review is mostly whining about things which have changed from the d700.

Button layouts change. You get used to it. And when the d900 or whatever comes out, everyone will whine that the buttons aren't in the same place as the d700.

I changed MANUFACTURER for the d800 and I've had it about 6 weeks and I know all the controls inside and out. It's really not a big deal.

And hopefully firmware will fix a couple glitches:
Being able to reassign the ISO button to one of the Fn buttons on the front

Being able to change the auto-gain of the exposure in live view (for studio work)
Making "trap focus" work properly

It's a brand new camera and an amazing accomplishment.

And downgrading a camera because SOME of the bodies many have a problem is silly, since anybody buying one can send back their version if there is a problem.
