In regard to 'E-M5 Angst'...

To all the diehard 4/3 DSLR shooters on the forum, don't get too ruffled about folks posting here to show the excellent capabilities of their E-M5's.

I really can't blame them as they seem to be hated by a large contingent of Pany owners on the m4/3 Forum, and this is a much more civil place to share their new camera excitement.

I used to think this forum was fairly contentious, until I got my E-PL2 and started posting on the m4/3 Forum -- WOW, that place is like one of those scenes from an old Arabian battle movie where everyone is swinging swords in a crowded market place. Now this Forum is like a vacation in the mountains!

I suspect that once Olympus releases the E-7 (and I firmly believe they will), this forum will be all abuzz, and contention will return as snipers from other forums check in to remind everyone here that this is a dead system, and why their particular camera model is much better.

Meanwhile, I say welcome the occasional new E-M5 enthusiast -- after all, a lot of the E-M5 technology will no doubt make it into the E-7. If you're an E-XX or E-XXX shooter, their presence isn't overcrowding this forum right now anyway.

Above all, just continue to enjoy your excellent Oly cameras -- I continue to see some amazing images being posted here -- in spite of the 'latest and greatest' technology

God Bless,
Greg
