Got a Minolta AF 35-70/4, self-observation

the observation I'd like to share is rather about me, than the lens ... I got it along with a Maxxum 7000 Body on the flea-market. Very cheap, very clean and good condition. Good luck! -- Funny thing is, although recently I "lost my photographic eye" somehow (too many troubles in life), when I got out trying the new lens my look for more or less interesting subjects returned! Nothing spectacular, I'm afraid, but at least I took some photos ok for me. More than what I was able to snap in the past few weeks. And it was just a lot of fun playing with the new lens.

So, do you know this "new" gear effect? I'm aware this is not very reasonable, I mean, wtf, I cannot buy anything new if I need the kick to take a photo!

Anything similar there with you?
