A little off-topi, but I have the FZ35. I don't use the movie mode much, and when I tried it I had trouble playing them through WMV and also converting them.
Just installed Ubuntu 12.04 alongside windows and the .mts file I saved plays great on my laptop with whatever Ubuntu default installed. Just a thought.
