Agree, don't get suckered by steep increase in price for what you get.

Bargain!
Well done for not getting sucked into Canon's 5iiN minor upgrade!

After weeks of contemplation and reading reviews, I bought another 5DMKII as my back up camera. I decided i needed a back up camera on hand as i have been working so much with a few clients lately that I couldnt aforrd not to have a second body on hand in case of some sort of issue with one. So, now I have two.
I really toiled with the idea of getting the new MK III but couldn't justify the price versus the cameras improvents. The MK II is still meeting my professional needs.
So I found a used MK II body, used as a backup by another pro nearby me, with only 5500 shutter actutations, and in near mint condition, all for only $1500.00!
I think I chose well..... Although I'll be saving for the next upgrade and be ready for it when I need to make that move!
