Basic tripod and guided Astrophotography tips?

Thx Jarno for the tips. Now I understand the reasoning more about the limits of exposure for digital. In film, I used to chill to reduce reciprocity failure and increase the duration of the film's sensitivity to receive light. But when technology turned digital I never really fully comprended why multiple short burst of shots and stacking was common trend for DSLRs instead - so it's sensor heat that generates sensor noise. Makes sense now as to why companies like SBIG or StarlightXpress make the big sensor coolers.
