Extraneous files when downloading from Eyefi pro card on 5D3..

This morning, I decided to shoot with RAW files, so I changed the setting from " - " to "RAW". I took about 150 photos on my 5D Mark III this morning. When I go home an tried to download them, I noticed the Eyefi pro software downloading files for damn near an hour. When I looked in the folder where the photos were being downloaded, I noticed there were some extra files: some 250+ kilobyte photos, some 4kb files' and I didn't notice any canon raw files (eg .CR2). I did notice within the Eyefi software that there were also CR2 files. It seems like, all in all, about 450 files were gonna be downloaded. I quite downloading because I couldn't wait any more.

Anyone have any idea wha the hell was going on? Did I set the camera to record two files? Or is it Eyefi Pro that was creating three files for each photo? Or something else?
