Walt Disney World

My wife, now grown-up 20 something daughter, and I are going to Walt Disney World next month. I know the last time I was at Epcot, six years ago, I regretted just having a point and shoot camera. I'm planning to take my D300s this time to shoot stills and a little video. Who knows, this may be my last trip to WDW for a long long time. I'm trying to keep it light, and am considering just taking the 35 1.8 lens instead of the bigger but granted more versatile 16-85VR. Any thoughts on my lens selection or even whether it makes sense to take the DSLR at all?
