IR Shots with X Pro 1

I notice there is quite a pronounced "hot spot" near the centre of the sensor. I believe this is quite common on most digital cameras.
I am loving that you can compose well using the OVF. Previous cameras for me you had to compose with the filter off and then put it back on. It was too tedious.
Also although you still need several seconds for an exposure it is really quite sensitive to IR light and in some cases hand held is possible like the shot of the clouds out the airplane.
1/8" is really too slow for hand held even with the wide and ISO 3200 introduced grain but hard to set up a tripod on a crowded passenger jet haha.
