We are forever split

The 4/3rds lenses are among the best in overall performance but we are saddled with average to poor bodies. This is especially true for those who dislike the E3/E5 form.

m4/3rds have excellent bodies (in terms of file generation ... CAF, AF on long lenses and handling is still behind) but their lenses are shadows of 4/3rds lenses.

Discontented grunt!

Personally, I want a Sony sensor in an updated E1 body. Contrast detect to calibrate the phase detect. I might even consider (gag) an E3/E5 body if a half decent sensor was put in one.

Either that or Oly pulls their finger out and make 4/3rd level lenses for m4/3rds.

If neither of these things happen, we will be forever split.

PS - when I say good 4/3rds lenses, I'm mainly thinking of HG lenses. Most SHG zooms are too big IMO. Might be better served to get a good quality full frame system instead.
