SX40 Infinity Setting?

Pete you are very correct IF that was all I shoot.

Here is an example of why I would like an infinity focus solution

This was shot from a ship hand-held with an SX40 at 840mm equivalent.
It is un-cropped but reduced to 1200px width for web display.
