X11 Successor to X10?

Back Side Illuminated CMOS sensors seem to give a noticeable improvement especially in low light. This mainly applies to smaller 1/2.3"- 1/2" sizes where the smaller photo diodes are crowded out by the surrounding on-chip circuitry. The back illumination allows for a greater diode area to collect photons. Larger sized sensors may lose this advantage as the photo diodes are larger and the circuitry is much the same size.
