Sony A37/A57 or Nikon D5100???

Hello

I'm new to SLR cameras and I want to buy either Sony A37/A57 or Nikon D5100. Can you please advise which would you recommend is the best SLR for beginners like me and easy to use with best quality on imaging. Thanks a lot for your advice. Jeff
