E-M5 "too good"?
Jul 4, 2012

Maybe it's only me, but I feel that my photography needs limitations. When the gear I use is limited (i.e. noisy high ISO or limited DR) I have to be alert of exposure parameters which curiously slows me down a bit and helps me get more involved with my composition. I "see" better. Conversely, when I can trust the camera and lens I use, "P&S" mode often takes over. With the previous cameras I owned reaching the technical twilight zones was fairly easy, but the E-M5 is rather hard to bend. In a way, I felt more at home with the old E-P2 which was slower, noisier and more "human". The E-M5 feels like a shooting machine in comparison.

Can anybody else relate to this or should I seek professional help?
