Real images (no AF testsots, no cats) from D800/Malta

I got my D800 just before my vacation to Gozo (Malta). I came from D700 and found the use of D800 very easy: No issues shooting but a few mistakes with different button layout. PP is quite different (and slow), and takes a lot of practice to master.

These images represent the best I can do right now with D800. I’m impressed by the RAW output from this camera. Feels like there’s nothing you can’t do with it – pull shadows, rescue highlight, remove noise. Have a look at the images, enjoy Malta and Gozo. Full gallery, larger sizes and shooting details at
