Fast zooms or faster primes?

I would absolutely go for option two at this point in time, for following reasons:

• 4 primes gives max. IQ and low light flexibility, while superzoom covers the "i can only bring/use one len" scenarios

• more fast zooms are likely coming this fall from Sigma and Oly, meaning healthy competiton for the very high priced Panys

I've executed a version of your option 2 myself, with pany 14, sigma 19 &30, Oly 14-150, plus some additional zooms that suite other needs (9-18 landscape, 75-300 long zoom, and Pany 14-42x for super compact walk around kit).

In fall, when more primes and zooms come online, I'll add a fast zoom and a macro prime. Fast zoom will likely replace my kit zoom.
