I was thinking about saving up for a D700 to replace my D7000. Main reason I just was not happy with skin tones. Most of the time they didn't look natural to me. Once in a while I would get a photo with skin tones I liked. That is until I bought the 85 1.8g. I realized this lens was fast and sharp. But I didn't think it would improve skin tones as much as it did. Now i'm keeping the D7000.
