K5 or Sony Nex7?

Considering a new K5 (dont have lenses) or a new Sony Nex 7 (have 1 kit lens from Nex5): use mainly for family, low light, snapshots, some macro (1 to 4 cm indoors, close-up filters) etc..I like Sony but have questions about holding up in ruggedness compared to Pentax SLR; never used an EVF ( not an option on Nex5)...appreciate any thoughts or anyone facing similar circumstances or just ideas,mp's in either OK, fps in either OK; Nex 5 has been fine but need a viewfinder option, missing to many pictures of 3yr old grandaughter, thanks
