14-24/2.8 - Maybe I Made a Mistake?

The 16-35 is a disaster compared to 14-24mm if you don't want cushion effect and don't need perfect sharpness!

I have both of them, but otherwise the 16-35mm is ok, But don't compare them, 14-24mm is heavy but otherwise marvelouse!
