For bad light you need one of these.

Actually you need the top mounted one not the side but they work in the same way.
I don't know how you synch it with the lens though

I have the top mounted one on my Crown Graphic. I have not used the range finder lights though. I must try that one day.

The Speed / Crown Graphic have lots of viewfinder options. It is an ergonomic nightmare to use.

My Rollieflex TLR also has lots of options ans is much nicer to use even though it is now 60 years old.
A digital camera with waste level viewfinder would be great.
