Canon Rumors forum links to a site with alleged SX50 HS photo and specs:
google "rumor sx50hs" and scan down

The link is to a google translation of a page on an alleged SX50.

Looks a lot like an SX40/SX30. The specs read in translation:

Since it does not appear on the sites menu listing of powershots it probably is just a promo sitting there waiting for the camera to actually ship. Still it is interesting.

I'm still quite happy with my SX20 but 42x zoom starting at 24mm equivalent would nudge me over along with faster shooting and still the cool articulating screen
