PS: Where's your place? My guess from your wildlife list is northern BC or Alaska.

Sunshine coast of BC - Skoomchuk Narrows if that means anything to you. A short ferry ride and an hour's drive north of Vancouver.

For those who asked for pics - I'd love to but don't have the camera Split with wife, she took camera. Only had money for used GF1 then before I could buy suddenly came upon a bit more money so hoping for a deal on a GX1 / G3 body and then look for lenses.

The eagles are only about 90% wild, so when I'm cleaning the fish after being out in the boat if I throw the guts in the water they come and feed. 100ft to 300ft away depending on the current.

Sea life usually comes in with the herring run, so you can pretty easily predict where they will come up.

Actually found these taken with a 7yr old point & shoot (Canon A510) - this is what I do NOT want (showcasing crappy pictures is humbling)
