X100 in Aperture Priority...

Thanks, Larry - you're pretty much right.

I'm testing a small new hotshoe flash I just got, and had the external flash setting to "on". I just now went into the menu and turned it "off" and now I've got access to the slower speeds.

I guess I can see why the designers decided to limit flash pictures to 1/30 and above, but I've been doing this stuff for a long time and I have many favorite flash photos taken with longer shutter speeds than 1/30. I like to think I know what I'm doing, and I had no idea the X100 wouldn't allow me to use longer shutter speeds.

Oh, well...
