New FL-600R flash doesn't work with E-M5

Dear Sirs,

I have received the Olympus FL-600R and I am really annoyed because it doesn't work with my E-M5 and I need it for today because I have a photo session. First I tried SANYO ENELOOP batteries, then CHARGE and AUTO CHECK lamps were blinking simultaneously, then I decided to buy new ENELOOP batteries but it didn't work and then I bought AA DURACELL batts but nothing happens. Same story.

I also updated the camera firmware but same story.

Has anyone experienced the same issue? Any ideas?
