Mobile Background for Large Groups [Lastolite HiLite?]

About the HiLite, I think it's pretty easy to light them up, you just need one flash on every side...

Your idea about the length-wise hanging of the roll is simple and great! That shouldn't be a problem. But any ideas for a background stand that's about 3.6m (12 feet) wide?

I'd love to use the Manfrotto 1314B set with an extra tripod (1052BAC), but I don't see an option to connect the three tripods... Manfrotto redirects me to the distributor (when I called and emailed them), but it's still quiet after three days...
