Reikan FoCal Mulipoint Focus Test

If distance has an influence on the measurements, would 2 feet be an irrelevant distance?

I mean (no offence), how often do you take photos at 2 feet with a 105mm lens?

I found the documentation for this test that the best distance is 50x the lens mm. It would be 5.25 meter. 2 feet is 0.6 meter, about 11% of the distance.
