I also have the Sigma 19mm and have been thrilled with it. In fact, I chose for the Sigma as my "normal" lens on my OM-D, over the 12-50 and 14-42. The 19mm focal length is ideal because it gives you a moderate wide-angle view, while allowing for nice close-ups.

Paired with the OM-D's high ISO performance and IBIS, the low-light capability of this combo is outstanding.

Regarding sharpness, ePhotozine has tested the Sigma 19mm, Panny 20mm/1.7 and Panny 25mm/1.4. The Sigma was sharper across the board than the Panny 20mm.

When comparing the Sigma and the Panny 25mm, it's basically a dead heat, with the Sigma having a slight advantage in center sharpness. At the edges, the Panny has a slight advantage at 2.8 and 4, while the Sigma pulls ahead from 5.6 on up.

I've got the 19 also, am very happy with it. I do most of my shooting outdoors so the 2.8 doesn't bother me much at all. Although the Panasonic is small, the Sigma isnt' that big...about like a 14-42 Oly Kit lens (collapsed). It's a good lens. The thing that impressed me most, was the focus speed...even on my EPL1, tested it with a program another person gave me a link to, and it's focus speed on 10 shots I tried was between 400-550 ms. on an EPL1 ! It's also good at low light focus. The Panny 20 is faster, and smaller but about 200USD more if you can find it. Both are sharp.
