What you could try is to pull down the Color Monochrome adjustment and see if it will > turn your background the color you want.
OK...will try...thanks! If that doesn't work, I guess elements is next. This job doesn't depend on this....I suggested to the client that they send the image to their web team to see if they have the software to adjust. Based on jagged edges around the subject's shoulders, it appears that the photo has been edited previously.
