Does somebody NOT use menu banks / custom buttons (Fn, DOF)?

You would think that Nikon would talk to some professional photographers about this so that these menus/banks actually had some use. Given what these cameras cost and the number of talented photographers and software designers out there, they COULD actually make something that is useful. My treadmill, which costs half what a D800 costs has better user implementation than what my camera has. Kinda pathetic actually.
