Wouldn't the 5760X1400 dpi best be used on the higher quality mat and cotton papers like the Ultra mats or Velvit Fine Art papers???

Absolutely not. The surface and absorption of matt papers is such that 1440 dpi is generally more than sufficient. The only time you would want to go higher than 2880 dpi would be with ultra glossy surfaces.

Most glossy magazine pages are printed at 150 lpi.

Thanks Brian, I'm still in the learning curve stage of printing.
So,

Would high dpi be used for RedRiver Polar Metalic?
