40mm arrived totay, took a few test shots...

You photos are good & compelling. I also have the 5D2 and have tried 35/2, 50/1.8 and 50/1.4 with varying degrees of success. I like the 35 for a bit more width and light weight, but the AF on the 40 seems better. The 50/1.8 can hunt and I don't care for the blur. And 50 in general feels too tight. I don't need much wider than 35, so 40 should be good enough for wide, and might serve well for video. I wonder if I could live with a 40 and 200/2.8 combo.
